A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the Big "G" Jam a couple of weekends ago! It was an unforgettable weekend filled with incredible music, delicious food, and a family-friendly atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of our community.
Hey Dude After Hours did an incredible job curating the lineup that truly became the heart of the weekend. Krystal, Bryan, and their children went above and beyond by arriving early to help with setup and running the ticket booth—their dedication ensured everything ran smoothly. Miss Casey of Muck Duck Studio, our Community Arts partner, brought the event to life with vibrant and creative art, adding a special touch. In the Kids Corner, Jaesic kept the little ones entertained and engaged throughout the weekend by facilitating the kids' activities. A special thanks to my darling Michael, for cooking up some incredible food at Mike's Country Kitchen—your "dank noms" were a hit with everyone! Reena and Phil provided invaluable assistance in the Lodge kitchen, making sure the artists and staff were well-fed and happy. Adrien, Scott, and Blaze worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that the lights and audio were perfect throughout the event. And a big shoutout to Billy for holding it down in the General Store, keeping everyone supplied. Finally, to our vendors, volunteers, and everyone who has shown us support over the years, we sincerely thank you!
Fundraising Success
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised $427 for the Hannibal Backpack Program during the Big "G" Jam! This program provides food for children in need, ensuring they have nutritious meals to take home over the weekends during the school year. It’s a vital service that helps fight hunger and supports our local youth.
Keep an eye out for their upcoming Pick-A-Pumpkin fundraiser this fall, and don’t forget about their fundraiser as part of the Hannibal Country Christmas at the end of the year—both great opportunities to give back to this amazing cause.
Upcoming Event: The Fall Down
We’re excited to announce that our next event, The Fall Down, will be raising funds for the Hannibal Free Library. All proceeds will go toward funding a new floor in the children's room—a much-needed improvement that will enhance the library’s welcoming atmosphere for young readers.
The Hannibal Free Library offers more than just books; it’s a hub for learning and community activities. Story hours, book clubs, family painting classes, cooking classes for teens & summer reading programs are just a handful of the wonderful programs they provide, the library plays a crucial role in our community, and we’re proud to support their efforts.
