Kentucky Derby Day Spring Fundraiser
Kentucky Derby Day at The G Lodge—Ridiculous Hats Welcome!
Join us in supporting the community we all love with our annual Spring Cleanup! This is the 5th year we've invited the community out to help build and make their mark on this beautiful piece of land and it's taken many forms and shapes over that time. Last year was the first time we chose to celebrate Derby Day as part of this fundraising and volunteer tradition and we liked the way that worked!
This year, we’re focusing on:
- manicured campsites
- permanent trash and recycling bins
- a new pond dock
- bridge repairs
- BUILDING THE PLAYGROUND
- other annual maintenance like weeding, gardening, staining, painting, etc.
(projects are subject to change)
I also want to note that we work pretty non-stop all spring to prepare the property for the summer event season, it's definitely not just limited to this one day or this specific weekend. If you'd like to get involved, reach out to me directly and we can find a time and project that we can work on together!
Bring supplies, pick up a brush, or just toss some cash in the hat and have a good time, everyone can help! Enjoy a Bake Sale, White Elephant Sale, horse betting, silly hats, incredible food, mint julips, live music, and making lasting memories as we work together to keep The G Lodge beautiful. Let’s make it a Derby Day to remember!
