A new website & rebrand, renovations, April & May events, work-stay opportunities
BIG THINGS out here in Gaugerland,
The lack of newsletter is certainly not for lack of progress, we are ALL SYSTEMS GO out here in Hannibal, NY
Right now we are most immediately preparing for a total online transformation. Because all three of our businesses out here developed somewhat independently; The “G” Lodge, The Gauger House & Fay Flower Farm, they’ve grown to lack any sort of cohesion. Which is why we are bringing in Katie Morelli on the rebrand & web design as well as Sarah Heppell of Brand Bash on a continuous photo content capture throughout the course of 2023. We are excitedly preparing the house today, putting on some final touches and getting in some final deep cleaning in preparation for our first big photo shoot here with Sarah TOMORROW! (yee haw) Check out our new front railing (Thanks Phil!), a door we painted pink and our FANTASTIC new color palette. Gosh, do I love a good color palette.
THANK YOU Katie for putting this together for us!
We are also getting pretty excited to have some new siding put up on the back part of the house starting this weekend, a project that’s been long overdue.
Jazmine now has office hours at the house, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 11am - 6pm,
You can book a session with Jazmine by emailing her at MinStraus@gmail.com OR by texting her (607) 621-0326
April & May Events

Their paintings will be displayed in the Gallery at The Gauger House (and available for purchase) until May 20th at which point there will be a closing ceremony featuring live music from Archimedes and stephe's band, Garden of Evil Doers. Can’t make it to the opening or closing but would like to come view the art? Schedule an appointment by emailing me (Gabi) at thegaugerhouse@gmail.com. We will continue rotating featured artists every 2 months so please also reach out if you are interested in displaying your art in our vibrant, boutique bed & breakfast gallery hall! Our next display will feature the photography of Rick Melnick.
April 13th - A Night of Cacao & Ecstatic Dance
The Gauger House & Rising Women Collective come together to bring you A Night of Cacao & Ecstatic Dance. The cacao portion of the event is limited to only 15 people so make sure you register with Sierra to reserve your spot before they're gone. The dance is open to the public and by donation. Note: Though this event is in collaboration with RWC, this event is co-ed and open to the public.
April 23rd - The Gauger House Girl Gang Country Club Spring Tea Party
Happy to announce that these Tea Parties will now be taking place seasonally out here at The Gauger House. This is an opportunity for women who might consider themselves to be entrepreneurial, creative, driven & motivated to gather, network & share ideas. Bring a dish to pass, we will have tea & snacks available. Jessica Gulliver Wakefield of Peace, Love and a Fuller Experience will be blessing us with some relaxation meditation and sound healing, Anna w/ Intention will be sharing some tarot, and we will have a repotting station available with some fresh soil provided by our Fay Flower Farmers, Anna & Sean! So bring your plant babies you'd like to transplant or some pots to swap! (Plus some other fun stuff we haven't figured out yet!) Also, join the FB group to stay up-to-date on future Girl Gang Country Club Tea Parties & Gatherings
May 11th - May 23rd - Dad Rock
Dad Rock is our annual Spring Cleanup and Volunteer roundup. Usually just at The “G” Lodge, this year we are expanding into our property across the street as well as we work to develop The Gauger House & Fay Flower Farm. This is the time when y’all come out with your chainsaws, paintbrushes and drills, ready to get your hands dirty. We feed you healthy, home-cooked meals everyday, entertain you at night and provide massages for those next-level volunteers. More info on the FB event page and project breakdowns coming v, v soon.
