Rebecca Llyod Blue Feather Wellness

We’re overjoyed to have Becky kicking off the workshops for this event with 108 Sun Salutations Workshop | A Salute to the Sun.

Each movement is a devotional offering to the sun, yoga, and the highest Self. With each salutation, layers of emotional and energetic stagnation stored in the body’s tissues can be recognized, felt, and released. Upon completion, we will clear away what no longer serves us and reconnect with our sacred inner space.

The number 108 is significant in Hinduism and Buddhism, symbolizing the wholeness of existence. Traditionally, yogis practice 108 sun salutations at the start of each new season to celebrate new beginnings. This powerful practice connects us with our inner light, guiding us to embody our highest potential. The integration of intention, movement, and breath generates intense inner heat, burning away unnecessary thoughts and emotional or physical baggage. Breath by breath, we peel back layers, tuning into our limitless potential.

Marcos Ramirez Ramirez & Son

Whether you're a newcomer eager to explore the craft or someone looking to refine their skills, this entry-level workshop is designed just for you. We'll embark on a journey through the fundamentals of woodworking, from understanding different types of wood to its lifespan and cultivating essential techniques of geometry.

As a carpenter, the craft intertwines seamlessly with principles of body movement and sustainable living. Carpentry is a hands-on profession that demands precise movements and coordination. Every action requires mindful body movement. The motions of measuring, cutting, and assembling each cultivate strength, dexterity, and spatial awareness. This hands-on engagement not only enhances physical fitness but also promotes a deeper connection between mind and body, fostering a sense of mindfulness in every action.

Get ready to unleash your creativity, hone your craftsmanship, and enjoy Marcos’s Woodworking workshop. Let the divine gift of nature flow through you.

Emily Widdekind kind human

Emily approached us with the desire to host a clothing swap at Cultivate! Why would she do that?

Because fast fashion clothing you buy in stores produces:

  • 16 million tons of CO2 emissions

  • 20% of global water pollution, 10% is microplastics

  • 92 million tons of garments end up in landfills

So what can you do about it?

  • Swap your used clothes for something new!

Wanna participate? Drop you used clothing off to Emily at 206 Darrow Ave. Syracuse, NY 13209 OR to Gabi at 42 Keller Rd. Hannibal, NY 13074 by Thursday, June 20th so we can properly go through and organize everything.

Pop by her tent during the markets on to check out the Community Clothing Swap.

Cody Sauberan Sous Chef at Lento Restaurant

Chef Sauberan is part of a new generation of chefs, who from a young age were exposed to the world of cooking through media. From an early age this exposure led to a deep-seated love and respect for the culinary arts. Over the years, he followed a unique path favoring self-education and learning directly at the side of skilled professionals over a traditional culinary education. Through determination, and an ever-present need to improve his craft he climbed his way up through the food industry and has worked at several well known restaurants in upstate New York including The Erie Grill & New York Kitchen. Currently residing in Rochester, he’s employed at Lento studying under Chef Art Rodgers. Cultivate will be his first major culinary venture undertaken alone.
