Totality 2024, Property Upgrades, Blossom Boxes and MORE!

Hey there hi there folks,

I know it’s been a while since I’ve written, but don’t worry, it’s because we’ve been very busy and now we have a TON to share with you.

We’re pleased to announce,

Join us for an unforgettable day of cosmic celebration at Totality 2024

At 3:21 pm, the sun will pass directly into the shadow of the moon over the festival site where attendees will observe 3 minutes and 13 seconds of totality. This rare celestial event hasn't been witnessed in Hannibal since January 21, 1395, and won't occur there again until August 2, 2399.

Here's what's in store:

  • 12-3:00 P.M.: Engage in interactive healing and wellness workshops & experiences.

  • 3-4 P.M.: Eclipse Observation

  • 4-6 P.M.: Performance by Laraaji, recording of podcast with Laraaji and Cornell astrophysicist Dr. Nikole Lewis on the science of eclipses

  • 6-8 P.M.: Interactive workshops & experiences ending with drumming & bonfire

For more information, visit our Events Page.

We are anticipating this event to sell out very quickly and we’ve got a 24hr head start here before the event is released on larger channels via Sing For Science’s media outlets so grab your tickets now before they’re gone!

In other lodge news, we’ve just extended the black walnut countertop in the kitchen and added a dishwasher,

And we have some materials on the way for an upgrade to the big stage. Stay tuned.

Wanna plan your next visit?

We have been working on a butt ton of upgrades,

The Beauty Parlor

A sneak peak at our latest work in progress.

A few other little things, we moved the black stone countertop out of the kitchen and into the Pink Room to make a little coffee bar for guests,

Exciting news! We’ve joined The Flower Collective of Central New York!

This move elevates our business to a new wholesale level. We’re proud to be offering specialty sunflowers and lisianthus through the collective this year with peonies, ranunculus, lavender, eucalyptus and more on the horizon.

You can expect all of these as well as zinnias, strawflowers, dahlias, statice, snapdragons, cress, bells of Ireland, lilies, and so much more in our Boutique Bouquets. Pick one up from a local farmers market or from right here at our roadside stand, coming this spring!

We’re also happy to now be offering,

Our Blossom Boxes are personalized flower beds which offer a unique experience for couples, transforming floral dreams into vibrant reality. It all begins with a vision board session, where you collaborate with our team to conceptualize your ideal wedding flowers, encompassing themes, colors, and styles. From there, we use our expertise in local growing conditions to craft a Floral Possibilities Board, meticulously selecting plant varieties that align with your vision. Each of your Blossom Boxes will be adorned with a commemorative plaque bearing your names and wedding date. As planting commences, you're invited to participate in the process, with flexible opportunities to engage in seasonal care and nurturing your blossoms. When the big day arrives, we meticulously harvest and deliver your blooms, ensuring they arrive fresh and beautiful, ready to adorn your celebration venue. With communication and collaboration at the core, our Blossom Boxes promise a seamless journey from vision to fruition, making your wedding day truly unforgettable.

We’ve had some change-overs in the house,

After two years here at The Gauger House, Alexis, Johnny & Mekka have moved back to Syracuse. I owe them tremendous gratitude is helping me grow both as a landlord and a person. It was a pleasure getting to watch little Mekka grow.

Last month, we had some new folks move in.

Welcome Anna & Kyle!

Anna is an EMT and works assisting folks with developmental disabilities locally while Kyle works at Corning’s Advanced Optics plant as a Chamber Operator in Fairport. Together they enjoy mischievous walks through the forest, crack chicken in the crock pot and spending time with their three fur children, Jinx, Muffin & Poe. Anna also enjoys writing horror novels and Kyle is big on disc golf.

Say hello during your next visit!

This past fall, Jazmine made the decision to move back to Buffalo after an incredible year of living, collaborating and building here at the properties. BIG thanks to her for believing in my vision since nearly it’s inception and for being my wall-painting, merch-modeling, traveling, motorcycle-driving, ice-cream-eating companion. Couldn’t have done it without ya kid!

And most recently, my partner Michael has moved in and we are off to a running start collaborating on, well everything.

We’re running off to Hawaii in a little under two weeks to soak up some sun and there’s a couple ways you can support us!
